  Andrej Hajdinjak co-operated in over 100 drama, dance, ballet and opera performances as well as in various concerts and commercial events at home and abroad and worked with some of the most prominent theatre and opera directors and other artists (The Nymphs of the Rhine, Julie - directed by Manfred Schweigkofler, Tosca - directed by G. H. Seebach, Lakmé - directed by Plamen Kartaloff, Architecture of Silence, Radio and Juliet - directed and choreographed by Edward Clug, Carmen – directed by Charles Roubaud, Don Quixote – directed by Thomas Schulte-Michels, Faust- directed by Alessio Pizzech, Celebrations of the Day of the Republic, Clebrations in occasion of conferring Preseren National Culture Awards…).

He works with some of the most important Slovenian and foreign cultural institutions (Slovene National Theatre Drama and Opera Ljubljana, Cankarjev dom, Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet Maribor, Slovene Youth Theatre Ljubljana, Teatro Comunale Bolzano, Festspielhaus St. Poelten, Yugoslav Drama Theatre (JPD), National Opera and Ballet Sofia, Croatian National Television, Croatian National Theatre, Rijeka).

In 2004 he was awarded the highest Slovene theatre award – 39th Borstnik Award for the lighting design in the theatre performance “Searching for Lost Time” directed by Dušan Jovanovič.
